ROUND H606 LINE Double-Sided Profiling Inserts with Six 6 mm Corner Radii ISCAR’s new inserts have six 90° segments of 6 mm radii round cutting edges, which provide ramping down capability required for profiling applications. H606 RXCU 1206... insert is available with an AXT chipformer for steel and cast iron applications or with an AXMP chipformer, suitable for austenitic stainless steel and high temperature alloys. They are used on 40, 50, 63 and 80 mm diameter face mills and 32 mm endmills. Main Features The H606 RXCU 1206... inserts are not actually round. Each has six 6 mm radii 90° cutting edge arcs which can function like 12 mm standard round inserts, meaning a more economical solution. Very positive rake angle to reduce power consumption. Dovetail clamping configuration reduces the stress on the clamping screw. The new tools are an excellent solution for profiling applications that require ramping down or ramping up (milling applications) in face or shoulder milling. A standard 12 mm round insert provides cutting edges of practically 3x90°, while the HELIDO H606 double-sided insert provides 6x90° cutting edges, both with ramping down capability.
